Before and After
Job Overview
Some jobs are quick but make a huge difference. In West Hollywood, we were called to remove a bulky couch paired with a heavy dining table. Both pieces had been staged together for pickup, taking up most of the living room and making the space hard to use.
As seen in the photo, the couch had oversized cushions, while the table featured a thick top that added to its weight. Our Los Angeles junk removal crew handles these furniture pairs often, especially in West Hollywood apartments where tenants are moving, upgrading, or clearing out pieces to open up space.
The challenge here wasn’t volume, it was maneuvering. Both items needed two people to carry, with careful handling to avoid bumping walls on the way out. Just like other furniture removals in Los Angeles, we focused on balancing speed with care.
Our Approach:
- Started with the table, detaching the legs to make it easier to carry.
- Cleared the couch cushions separately, then lifted the frame with two crew members.
- Angled the sofa carefully through the doorway, avoiding scuffs.
- Loaded both pieces onto the truck, securing them for transport.
