Before and After
Job Overview
Some junk jobs are quick wins. This one in West Hollywood was wrapped in under an hour, but the impact? Huge. One less bed, one less desk, and one more renter breathing easy.
What made this pickup unique was how tight the space was. The client lived in a compact apartment just off Melrose, with a narrow hallway and zero elevator access. They were preparing for a cross-country move and needed two bulky pieces gone that same day.
Here’s how it went down:
- Got the call mid-morning, arrived within two hours
- Navigated a tight third-floor walk-up (no damage, no problem)
- Hauled out a queen-size bed and a heavy wood desk
- Swept up the leftover dust and nails before heading out
- Client left smiling, already packing boxes for their move
