Job Overview
This was the second of three visits to a Park La Brea apartment, part of a sensitive estate cleanout. The client is staying in her late sister’s unit while handling the estate, so our role has been to clear sections gradually while leaving the essentials she still needs for her stay.
As you can see in the photos, a mix of furniture and household items filled the rooms. Some pieces were set aside to remain, while others were marked for removal. Our Los Angeles junk removal crew worked carefully around what stayed, keeping the space functional for the client day to day.
Park La Brea’s high-rise apartments present their own challenges, with shared hallways, elevators, and limited curbside loading. Our team approached it much like our other Los Angeles apartment cleanouts, coordinating loads to minimize disruption to neighbors and keep pathways clear.
Our Approach:
- Items were sorted by the client before we arrived, with clear “keep” and “go” sections.
- Chairs, small tables, and boxed items were carried out first to open walking space.
- Larger furniture was removed in stages, ensuring the remaining layout stayed livable.
- Each load was taken directly to the truck, timed to avoid hallway congestion.

By the end of this session, a significant portion of the apartment was cleared, while the client still had what she needed for her temporary stay. With one more visit planned, the estate cleanout is on track to wrap smoothly and respectfully.
