Before and After
Job Overview
A Pasadena client called us for a straightforward pickup of some flattened cardboard, a few trash bags, and miscellaneous packing debris. But there was a twist: everything had to be hand-carried up a long outdoor staircase, which was narrowed on both sides by dense, overgrown trees.
With no room for a dolly and uneven steps throughout, our crew took a careful, steady approach… carrying everything piece by piece without disturbing the walkway or surrounding greenery.
Here’s how it went down:
- Walked the route first to plan the cleanest path
- Carried loads in small batches to avoid snags on tree branches
- Tied up loose bags to prevent spills during the climb
- Flattened and stacked cardboard for better grip and easier hauling
- Did a final sweep to collect loose bits of tape, paper, and packing foam
