Before and After
Job Overview
This quiet bedroom can tell the whole story in just a glance. In this case the story was simple: one bed that needed to go so the renter could reset the room before a new move in. As you can see in the before and after photo, the space was small, bright, and ready for a quick turnaround once the mattress and box spring were gone.
Our West Hollywood junk removal crew handles a lot of single item pickups, and this one fit that rhythm. The client had already cleared the nightstand and kept the walkway open, so access was easy. If you ever need a similar service, our Los Angeles junk removal team is listed here: Los Angeles junk removal. And for mattress specific information, you can peek at our mattress removal page: Los Angeles mattress removal.
The room itself had soft gray carpet with a few pressure marks from the furniture. Light from the tall window fell across the mattress, which helped us see the frame wheels and the path we could use to pivot the pieces out. West Hollywood buildings often have tight hallways, but this unit had a clear corner and a short straight shot to the main door, so the job stayed smooth.
Our Approach:
- We lifted the mattress first, carrying it on its side to keep the weight centered.
- The box spring followed, using the same path, keeping clearance around the window ledge.
- The metal frame folded down easily, so it traveled out in one quick trip.
- We scanned the carpet for leftover hardware or sliders, then did a light sweep so the client could start fresh.
