Before and After
Job Overview
In West Hollywood, a stylish apartment was getting a complete living room refresh. The existing furniture including a sofa, coffee table, side tables, and a few accent pieces, needed to go before the new design could take shape. That’s when our crew arrived with the bright green Junk Giant trailer and a plan to get it all out in one smooth trip.
The layout of West Hollywood apartments can be tight, with narrow hallways and small elevator access. As you can see in the photo, each piece was staged neatly near the door before we began the carry-out. We wrapped the sofa in blankets to protect both the upholstery and the building walls, then used sliders under the coffee table to guide it out without leaving a mark.
Having done plenty of junk removal in West Hollywood, we know the importance of working quickly in busy buildings where neighbors are coming and going.
Our Approach:
- Furniture protection: Pads and wraps kept all items from scratching during the move.
- Clear path: Rugs and small decor were moved aside to keep walkways open.
- Elevator load: Large pieces were angled to fit the elevator without forcing them in.
- Trailer placement: The truck was parked curbside to shorten carry time.
- Clean exit: The apartment entry was swept, leaving the space ready for its next chapter.
