Before and After
Job Overview
A Pasadena resident needed two of the biggest space-hogging items gone: a used couch and a bulky mattress. Both were stacked in the living area, making it tough to move around until our crew arrived.
The mattress had already been pulled off the frame and leaned against the wall, while the couch sat low to the ground with wide arms that would not fit through the doorway without a careful turn. Our Pasadena junk removal team specializes in these oversized pieces, so the setup was no problem.
Pasadena homes often have narrow hallways and short porch steps that make heavy furniture removal a challenge. We treated the job much like our other Los Angeles furniture removal services, using padding and lifting straps to protect both the items and the home itself.
Our Approach:
- The mattress came out first, carried on edge to fit through the doorway with no snags.
- The couch required a pivot at the entry, guided by two crew members in sync.
- Both items were staged near the truck to keep the pathway clear.
- Loading was smooth, with the couch stacked securely before the mattress was slid in on top.
