Before and After
Job Overview
Sometimes the toughest items to deal with at home are the ones used every day. In Glendale, we were called to remove a full bedroom set, starting with a sturdy wood frame and mattress that had become too heavy for the homeowner to move alone.
The first photo shows the frame mid-disassembly, with slats exposed and the headboard still in place. These kinds of pieces may look simple, but the bulk and awkward angles make them tricky to haul without the right tools. Our Glendale junk removal team knows how to break down furniture quickly and get it out without damage to walls or flooring.
By the time the mattress was placed back on top, as seen in the second photo, the room looked whole again but was ready for change. Mattresses in particular are a challenge to dispose of since they can’t just be left out for regular pickup. That’s where furniture and mattress removal in Los Angeles comes in, ensuring the pieces are either recycled or disposed of properly.
Our Approach:
- Disassembled the bed frame into manageable sections for safe carrying.
- Removed the mattress and box spring, securing them for transport without dragging across the floor.
- Cleared small furniture around the set to open walkways and prevent scuffs.
- Loaded everything into the truck, leaving the bedroom open for a fresh start.
