Nicholas Canyon Junk Removal: Fast Cardboard Clearout by the Coast

Before and After

Job Overview

A sunny afternoon job in Nicholas Canyon, quick and satisfying, all centered on one overflowing corner of flattened boxes and packing paper. This one began with a simple request from a homeowner who had just finished a round of home upgrades and needed a clean slate. Our Los Angeles junk removal crew showed up to find a narrow side yard stacked with cardboard, foam sheets, torn packing paper, and a few leftover shelving pieces.

You can see in the photo how the cardboard leaned against the wooden fence, with loose pieces slipping toward the ground. It made a small canyon of its own. Since much of our work in this part of Malibu involves remodel debris, we linked the homeowner to our Los Angeles junk removal page so they could see what else we handle. We also pointed them toward our Los Angeles cardboard removal service since this job was mostly recyclable material.

Nicholas Canyon has these long, shaded side yards that collect wind blown clutter. Cardboard tends to wedge itself between fences and storage sheds, and by the time someone calls us, the pile usually looks bigger than it is. This setup was a perfect example. Light glare from the trees made the stack feel even taller, but everything was dry and easy to reach.

Our Approach:

• We sorted the cardboard from the mixed packing materials, then folded everything again so it would travel neatly.
• The shelving pieces were small, so they went straight onto the truck without any trouble.
• Packing paper and loose foam were bagged on site to keep them from drifting in the afternoon breeze.
• We cleared from the fence side first, creating a little walking lane, then worked our way toward the bins at the far end.
• Once the last boxes were lifted, we gave the dirt and concrete a quick sweep so the area felt like part of the yard again.

By the time we wrapped up, the side yard was open, clean, and ready for whatever the homeowner planned next. No cardboard left catching sunlight, no odd pieces tilting at the fence, and no clutter blocking access to the utility bins.
